Day 56 – Incubus Intermezzo

Malam ini saya akan menonton konser Incubus. Marcell had bought me the ticket already. Knowing such a great band they are, I think it’s worth watching. And perhaps, I also deserve a little break. Tapi pekerjaan tidak bisa berhenti. Target hari ini adalah meneruskan Bab 42. And so I worked in my meditation room from morning till afternoon. Clock’s ticking. I planned to leave at four. Turns out, I finished at 3.30. Dalam keadaan belum mandi dan belum packing.

Rencana untuk pulang-pergi hari ini pun mengalami perubahan mendadak, dan mengharuskan saya untuk heavy packing coz I’ll be staying in Jakarta till next Monday. Keenan came along today as well. So, positively, there’s no more working.

Leave Bandung at 5 pm instead. Traffic jam in Pasteur. Came late to the concert. Bahkan terpaksa naik ojek ke Tennis Indoor Senayan karena sudah terlalu mepet. Sementara mobil akhirnya berpulang ke arah apartemen untuk mengantarkan Keenan dan babysitter saya. Yep. Ojek to Incubus. But again, it was worth it. In my opinion, I think Brandon Boyd is half-god. I believe that every child has its own path, and parents should not impose their own projections on their children, but that night, man, how I wish Keenan one day would grow as a rockstar. No, no, to be exact, to be as captivating and talented as Brandon Boyd. And have a great band. Heheh.
